The Effects and Influences of Precision Metabolic Management in the Continuing Care of Diabetes Mellitus
Objective to investigate the application of precise metabolic management pro-gramme in the extended care of diabetic patients and its effect on patients'self-management ability and blood glucose control. Methods A total of 148 patients with diabetes mellitus in the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from November 2021 to November 2023 were selected and evenly divided into the study group and the control group according to the admis-sion time. The control group was given the conventional nursing mode. The study group was adopted with the precision metabolic management program combined with the continuing care method. The differences in blood glucose control,self-management ability(SDSCA),quality of life(DSQL)and nursing satisfaction between the two groups were compared. Results The time point,between-group,and interaction effects of HbAlc,FPG,and 2hPG indexes of the patients in the two groups were compared(P<0.05).After nursing, the levels of HbAlc,FPG,and 2hPG in the study group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Each score of SDSCA and DSQL in the study group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.01).The patient satisfaction in the study group was significantly higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=7.889,P<0.05).Conclusion The application of precise metabolic management programme in the extended care of diabetes mel-litus patients can significantly improve the self-management ability of patients, thus achieving better glycemic control and improving the quality of life and nursing satisfaction of patients.
