High-quality Development of Silver Economy:Connotation,Opportunities,Challenges and System Construction
High-quality development is the primary task of building China into a modern socialist country in all respects,and it is also a social construction project in response to the aging society.The silver e-conomy is a new measure to high-quality development in the aging era,and its connotation is composed of wealth,labor-force,products and service,environment and other factors,so as to realize the goals of active aging ensuring that the elderly is cared and is happy,has something meaningful to do,and gets supports.Its opportunities include longevity dividend brought by a larger proportion of relatively younger elderly individuals and their healthier bodies,and the market demand potential brought by stable income and excellent structure.At present,the silver economy's high-quality development is still limited by the challenges of insufficient payment capacity and consumption motivation,low product quality and service level,lagging market supervision and talent construction.It is urgent to build a multi-level support sys-tem for the silver economy involving social security,employment,product,smart technology and environ-ment.
