Evolutionary Characteristics and Influencing Factors of Edible Mushroom Export Trade Network among RCEP Countries
The RCEP countries are not only the primary production and export regions for edible mush-room in the world but also represent traditional markets for China s edible mushroom export trade. This study selects relevant data on edible msuhroom exports from RCEP member countries between 2012 and 2022,employing Social Network Analysis to investigate the evolutionary characteristics of the edible mushroom export trade network.Through QAP regression, five independent variables are identified to an-alyze factors influencing network evolution. The findings reveal that the trade network for edible mushroom among RCEP countries is becoming increasingly interconnected and expanding in scale, with a growing degree of dependence and complementarity in terms of edible mushroom trade. However, this trade net-work remains imbalanced;while the number of core countries continues to rise, there is an excessive con-centration of marginal and weakly marginal nations.Consequently, the structure of the edible mushroom trade network exhibits characteristics dominated by exporting countries.Significantly, economic dispari-ties,demographic factors, geographical boundaries, and logistics performance levels have a pronounced impact on this trade network.Core nations within RCEP's edible mushroom trade should play a pivotal role in enhancing the prosperity of this trading network by promoting the implementation of trade agreements, improving trading efficiency, accelerating infrastructure development to enhance logistics performance lev-els,and facilitating greater ease of trade.
