Comparative Study on Different Seedling Culture Modes of Nicotiana tabacum
This experiment carried out a comparative study among three techniques including isolation of Nicotiana tabacum L. Seedling introduced from South Africa, the floating seedling technique and temporary planting seedling. The results showed that, the South Africa isolation technique of tobacco seedling improved the accumulative temperature in tobacco seedling stage, and with the technique, indexes such as rate of emergence rate, plant height, stem diameter, main root length, dry and fresh weight of root and plant were superior to the other two techniques. At the same time, it had the benefits of time and strength saving, simple operation, low costs. South Africa isolation technique of tobacco seedling was worth using in large areas.
