Analysis on Soil Nutrient Availability of Kiwifruit Orchards in Xiuwen County of Guizhou Province
Analysis on soil nutrient status of kiwifruit production in Xiuwen County of Guizhou Province provided some theoretical basis for rational fertilization. The results showed that average soil organic matter content was 46.53 g/kg,more than 61% of the soil organic matter content of the average requirements; soil total nitrogen content was high, with more than half of the orchard soil available nitrogen content greater than 120 mg/kg of average level at the appropriate level; The soil with high nitrogen content accounted for 25.70%,while that with poor nitrogen content constituted 29.17%; Orchard soil with an average content of available phosphorus 20.01 mg/kg cannot meet the needs of kiwifruit production; soil K content in suitable soil samples within the state accounted for 40.2%,nearly 2/5 of the soil lack of available potassium. It is recommended that phosphorus and potassium fertilizer be increased, nitrogen fertilizer maintained, and organic fertilizers combined in the future fertilization process, and that scientific and rational fertilization be applied on the basis of orchard soil fertility in order to improve fertilizer utiliztion and kiwifruit quality and yield.
