Optimization of Microwave Extraction Process for Tea Polyphenol by Response Surface Methodology
The tea-polyphenol was extracted by microwave from tea in this study. On the basis of single factor experiment, the extraction conditions were optimized through the response surface method and a multivariete quadratic regression was modeled. The results showed that all of the conditions such as ethanol content, liquid radio were not simple linear relationship. The yield of tea-polyphenols was 16.169%,and the relative error was-0.036% under the optimum conditions such as 80 mesh for particle size,300 W for microwave power, ethanol content 81.27%,material to liquid ratio 1∶35.47,and extracting 3 minutes under 70 ℃.The model was proved reliable in prediction.
