Different concentrations of GA3、6-BA、KT were used in the experiment to treat flower bud of Rhododendron pulchrum Sweet,and then the effects on morphological indicators of flower bud,flowering time,flowering quality and anatomical structure of ovary and anther were studied.Results showed that the mixture of GA3 and KT (GA3+KT for short) or GA3 and 6-BA (GA3+6-BA for short) accelerated the development process of flower bud of R.pulchrum Sweet significantly,which resulting in a remarkable advancement of flowering period,but had little effect on the length of flowering time;the promoting effect of GA3+KT was superior to GA3+6-BA.The promoting effect of hormone was concentration-dependent,1 500mg/L GA3 was superior to 1 000 mg/L GA3 on accelerating the development process of flower bud and flowering period.The dissection structures of ovary and anther revealed that GA3+KT promoted the development of the ovary of R.pulchrum Sweet,but the anther and the pollen grain inside were immature when the flower came into bloom.
