Effects of Different Drying Methods on the Content of Gallic Acid of Geum japonicum Thunb.var.chinese F.bolle
To compare the content of gallic acid of Geum japonicum Thunb.var.chinese F.bolle in Guizhou province by three different drying methods.The samples were separated by Zorbax Extend-C1s (4.6×150 mm,5 μm) column with the mobile phase of methanol-water (containing 0.1% phosphoric acid,12∶88,V/V) by high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC).The content of gallic acid in Geum japonicum Thunb.var.chinese F.bolle was determined by HPLC after oven drying,drying in the sun and drying in the shade.The results showed that the content of gallic acid in three different methods were 0.75%,0.78%,0.79%,respectively.The content method was simple stable and repeatable to determine the content of gallic acid in Geum japonicum Thunb.var.chinese F.bolle.In conclusion,in view of the rainy climate in Guizhou,Geum japonicum Thunb.var.chinese F.bolle is suitable for oven drying in production place.
