Biological Characterization and Screening of Pesticides on Chaenomeles sinensis Spot Leaf Cast Disease Pathogen
The biological characteristics and suitable fungicide for the pathogen Marssonina coronaria of Chaenomeles sinensis spot leaf cast disease were studied. The effects of different nutrition and environmental conditions on the mycelium,as well as 9 pesticides against the pathogen were investigated in this paper. The results indicated that the pathogen mycelium were grown well in PDA with pH7.0,soluble starch and urea were suitable carbon and nitrogen resource respectively. The lethal temperature was 45 ℃,and the light-dark alternation 12 h/12 h was benefit for mycelial growth.Among the 9 tested pesticides, the most effective agent was carbendazol, which EC50 was 8.78 mg/L,the relative inhibition rate was 85% under the recommended concentration 1.0 mg/L.Mancozeb was the least effective agent, the relative inhibition rate was 40.8% under the recommended concentration 1.67 mg/L.
