Effects of SNP and Zn2+ on the Growth of Cotton Seedling under Salt Stress Conditions
To research the effects of soaking seeds using compound of SNP (NO donor) and Zn2+ on the cotton(Gossypium spp.) seedling growth under salt stress, taking Lu 21 as materials, the effects of compound of SNP and Zn2+ on germination rate, germination potential, seedling leaf conductivity, root activity,POD activity,SOD activity, chlorophyll content, proline content and MDA content of cotton under salt stress were studied. The results showed that, under salt stress conditions,SNP and Zn2+compounds could significantly improve the germination rate, germination potential, root activity,POD activity,SOD activity, chlorophyll and proline content of cotton seed, and reduce the conductivity and MDA content of seedling leaves. The com-pounds of 0.10 mmol/L SNP and 20 mg/L Zn2+ had the best effect.
