Research on the Ideological and Political Education Practice of the General Education Course"Understanding China"for International Students in Vocational Colleges
Integrating ideological and political education into general education courses for international students in China is a crucial approach to effectively narrate China's story and a necessary response to contemporary developments.This study explores the teaching practice of ideological and political education in the"Understanding China"course offered to international students at vocational colleges.It introduces a teaching system that integrates"language,culture,and vocational education"into a cohesive whole,characterized by"three major features and one main line."The paper reflects on the shortcomings encountered in the practice of ideological and political education,aiming to provide valuable insights for the construction of such courses in vocational colleges.The goal is to promote the internationalization of vocational education and improve the quality of education for international students in China.
