Working Condition Simulation of Hot Forging Die for Automobile Half Shaft and Path Generation of Robot Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing
In order to determine the repair scheme of the hot forging die,the finite element simulation software was used to simulate the forming process of the automobile half shaft by rotary forging, and the robot wire arc additive manufacturing path was generated. When continuously forged 20 times, the die entered a thermal equilibrium state. The surface temperature of the central round table was stable at 788℃,and the relative depth of the surface layer and the 540℃isotherm was about 28 mm.In addi-tion,the additive layer of the die with a stress field of above 510 MPa was about 26.3 mm.The tempera-ture field was used to divide the additive manufacturing area of the die.MATLAB was used to extract the point cloud parts above 540℃,and the 3D model was established reversely. The path planning was carried out and used in the welding robot.
