Validation of Finite Element Model for All-steel Radial Tires
A finite element model of 12R 22.5 all-steel radial tires was established. The radial pressure simulation test was conducted with HyperMesh and Ls-Dyna,and the parameters of three-way tire dis-placement and ground imprint were compared with the measured results. The C10 and C01 parameters of the Mooney-Rivlin model were increased from 0.2 times to 2 times, respectively,to explore their effects on tire performance. The experimental results show that the simulation results are in good agreement with the measured results. The C10 and C01 parameters have a significant effect on tire deformation and have a strong positive correlation with rubber hardness.
