Simulation of Tunnel Magnetoresistance Effect Sensor Based on Camshaft Gear
The camshaft sensor of a signal automobile engine was taken as an example, and the influ-ence of the mounting position offset of Hall sensor and tunnel magnetoresistance(TMR)sensor on the measurement results was studied, including the linear travel distance in three directions and the degree of rotation at three angles. The magnetic circuit of the camshaft sensor was modeled, and the magnetic circuits of the TMR and Hall sensors were compared. The magnetic field at the dedendum of TMR corre-sponding to the displacement of the limit was obtained by experiment, and the other five limit mounting error ranges were thus obtained. The results show that the allowable measurement range of the TMR sen-sor is larger than that of the Hall sensor.
