Numerical simulation and analysis of primary support of tunnel based on PHASE2
The primary support is usually essential for the tunnel in class V during construction in order to ensure the stability of the surrounding rock.In this paper, the displacement and plastic zone distribution of the surrounding rock for one tunnel in class Vis simulated and analyzed in a water diversion project based on PHASE2.The results indicate that the tunnel will be collapsed without the support measures and it has a great potential safety hazard. After taking the proposed measures, the total displacement of the surrounding rock meets the requirements of the specification, and no plastic damage occurs. However,in order to ensure the safety of the project,it is suggested that drainage measures should be taken during the construction, and the construction interval between construction excavation and primary support measures should be shortened,so that the support can play a role as soon as possible.
