Technical and economic analysis of high-salinity waste water treatment based on zero discharge
The zero-discharge treatment of high-salinity wastewater has the combination of ultrafiltration, reverse osmosis and MVR evaporation, but the combination sequence affects the total investment and operation costs because of the water balance of zero-discharge.Taking the zero-discharge wastewater treatment process of a resource project as an example, this paper makes a techno-economic analysis on different process routes.Analysis found that directly using MVR evaporation for full treatment of wastewater consumes too much energy, and using DTRO reduction followed by evaporation crystallization is more economical. This paper provide reference for the decision-making of similar projects.
