Channel engineering,as an important component of agricultural water conservancy and irrigation construction projects,has many advantages such as strong water conveyance capacity and improved water resource utilization rate.This article takes the agricultural water conservancy and irrigation project in a certain county as the background,combines with the water conveyance and irrigation situation in the area,and systematically studies the U-shaped irrigation channels used,proposing a hydraulic calculation method for U-shaped irrigation channels,Finally,the construction points of U-shaped channels were summarized,providing reference value for the design of similar projects.
