Investigation and study on sediment status of rainwater pipelines in typical urban areas of Tianjin
By conducting a background investigation of rainwater pipelines and using sonar imaging devices to conduct depth surveys of pipeline sludge, the sedimentation status of 40 rainwater pipelines in 7 areas of the central urban area of Tianjin was mastered. The results show that:sediment is commonly present in regional rainwater pipelines, with an average sedimentation depth of 58.1~647.3 mm and a maximum sedimentation coefficient of 43.5%;The siltation of pipelines near construction sites, vegetable markets, and old residential areas is relatively severe, while the siltation of pipelines near business districts, schools, and new residential areas is relatively mild;Using the formula method, calculated based on the average SCPS coefficient of the maximum pipeline section, which is 43.5%,the corresponding flow capacity is reduced by 52.6%.The investigation and analysis results can provide reference basis for management work such as dredging and renovation of urban rainwater pipelines, and control of surface water pollution.
