Investigates the issue of frost heaving in concrete channels in cold and arid regions.The analysis of frost heaving damage mechanisms reveals the occurrence of channel structural cracks and overall deformation due to the expansion of soil moisture freezing at low temperatures.Various measures to prevent frost heaving,are systematically summarized.Finally,by evaluating the application effectiveness of different measures,the necessity of comprehensively employing these methods in practical engineering is emphasized.The research conclusions contribute theoretically to a deeper understanding of frost heaving in concrete channels in cold and arid regions,enhancing their resistance to frost heaving,and providing guidance for the design and construction of relevant engineering projects.
