The popularization of smart elderly care services can effectively alleviate the pressure on pen-sion resources under the"silver hair crisis".However, the promotion of this model faces many difficulties, and the adoption behavioral intention of the elderly is not high. Therefore, this study integrates the Unified Theory of Technology Acceptance and Use(UTATU)and the Technology Acceptance Model(TAM)to ex-plore the factors that influence the intention to use smart elderly care services.Using a well-structured and so-phisticated measurement scale,360 valid data samples collected from six communities in Zhengzhou,China, were analyzed using structural equation modelling. The results show that perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use and service quality are the direct factors influencing the behavioral intention of elderly users.Mean-while,perceived ease of use can positively contribute to perceived usefulness. In the UTAUT model,facilita-tion has a significant contribution to perceived ease of use;performance expectations have a positive contribu-tion to perceived usefulness;social influence has a significant contribution to both perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use,and self-efficacy has a positive contribution to perceived ease of use.Accordingly,sug-gestions are made to strengthen the publicity of the concept of"smart elderly"to enhance the cognitive concept of the elderly,to increase investment in scientific and technological research and development in order to sim-plify the operational procedures of smart elderly services,to accurately identify the needs of the elderly based on their individual characteristics, and to give play to the government-led role and the synergy of enterprises, communities, and families.
