SVD-TE Based High Arch Dam Discharge Vibration Transmission Path Identification
Aiming at the problems of unclear vibration mechanism and complex vibration transmission path of high arch dam under discharge excitation,the identification method of vibration transmission path on the basis of Singular Value Decompo-sition(SVD)and Transfer Entropy(TE)is proposed.For the measured data of the hydro-elastic model discharge condi-tions of the Laxiwa arch dam,the vibration transmission path of the arch dam is studied.Firstly,the SVD algorithm is ap-plied to the vibration data of the Laxiwa arch dam measure points to reduce noise;secondly,the TE algorithm is used to ex-plore the main vibration transmission paths of high arch dam discharge vibration based on vibration information from meas-ure points,and the accuracy of the vibration transmission paths is verified with existing studies.The results of the study show that,under the Laxiwa arch dam discharge working conditions,the vibration induced by the discharge load is mainly transmitted vertically from the discharge hole to the top of the dam,and the information transmission rate from the discharge hole to the top of the arch crown beam is 48.7%;the vibration induced by the impact load and surge load of the water cush-ion pool is mainly transmitted horizontally from the abutment to the middle of the dam,and the information transmission rate from the abutment to the arch crown is 32.33%and 37.58%,respectively;there are three paths for the transmission of the discharge vibration in the dam body,it is that discharge hole → top of the arch crown beam → 1/4(3/4)of the arch crown,discharge hole → 1/4(3/4)of the arch crown,and water cushion pond → shoulder of the dam → 1/4(3/4)of the arch crown.This study can provide a reference for the transmission path of water discharge vibration of high arch dams and provide a theoretical basis for the vibration mechanism analysis of similar projects.
