Experimental Study on Solidification of Coastal Soft Soil by Industrial Waste Solidification Agent
Solidification agents made from slag, desulfurization gypsum, aluminum slag, cement, fly ash,and sodium hydroxide can be used to solidify Caofeidian soft soil, which can fully utilize factory waste and reduce the amount of cement used to reinforce coastal soft soil on a large scale. The unconfined compressive strength of solidified soil was studied under variables such as different component ratios, moisture content, and addition ratios of solidified agents.Research has shown that the direct hydration reaction of the cementitious material in the curing agent and the secondary hydration reaction of industrial slag in an alkaline environment effectively improve the unconfined compressive strength of coastal soft soil; When the cement content is 40%,slag content is 24%,desulfurization gypsum content is 11%,aluminum slag content is 2%,fly ash content is 20%,sodium hydroxide content is 3%,and the curing agent dosage is 12%,the mechanical properties of the solidified soil are significantly improved. The use of this industrial solidification agent for strengthening coastal soft soil not only reduces the cost of foundation treatment, but also consumes a large amount of industrial waste, resulting in significant economic and environmental benefits.
