摘要
将POA运用到大学英语课程思政教学中,尝试构建了基于POA的大学英语课程思政教学模式,并以《全新版大学进阶英语综合教程(思政智慧版)》第一册第五单元"The Water Problem"为例,详细分析了POA教学流程"驱动、促成、评价"这三个方面是如何与思政教学元素相结合的.发现基于POA的大学英语课程思政教学丰富了POA理论,拓展了POA教学理论研究的范围,不仅培养和增强了学生"用英语做事"的能力,而且对培养和提高学生的思政意识,促使其树立文化自信有重要意义.
Abstract
The paper applies POA to ideological and political education in college English courses,attempting to construct a POA-based teaching model for ideological and political education in college English courses.Taking the"The Water Problem"in Unit 5 from the book"New Progressive College English Integrated Course"(Ideological and Political Wisdom Edition)as an example,the paper provides a detailed analysis of how the teaching procedures of POA,including motivating,enabling and assessing,combines with elements of ideological and political education.This study reveals that POA-based ideological and political education in college English courses enriches the theory of POA and expands the scope of POA research.It not only cultivates and strengthens students'ability to"do things in English",but also has important significance in cultivating and improving students'ideological and political awareness and establishing cultural self-confidence.
