Experimental Study on Mechanical Properties of Steel-Plant Fiber Reinforced Concrete
Adding external fiber materials to concrete can effectively improve its mechanical properties.Several types of external fibers are mixed in a certain proportion to enhance the mechanical properties of concrete, which is better than adding a single fiber.Plant fibers are widely present in nature and have advantages such as high yield, easy availability, environmental protection, and renewability.Three types of plant fibers, namely bamboo fiber, sisal fiber, and jute, were selected to be mixed with steel fiber. The reinforcement effect of steel plant fiber mixing on the splitting tensile, shear, and impact properties of concrete was analyzed through experiments, and compared with the single addition of steel fiber. The reliability of the mechanical properties of steel plant fiber reinforced concrete was verified. At the same time,by analyzing the influence of the dosage and mix ratio of three types of plant fibers and steel fibers,an optimization plan for steel plant fiber reinforced concrete was proposed, and corresponding values for the dosage and mix ratio were proposed, providing reference and guidance for experimental research and engineering applications.
