An Empirical Study on Improving the Emotional Intelligence of Vocational College Students
The purpose of this study is to explore the impact of activity-based experiential teaching mode on improving the emotional intelligence of vocational college students.Selecting first-year students from a vocational college in Hebei Province as the research subjects,a cluster random sampling method was used to divide them into a control group and an observation group. The control group adopted a conventional teaching mode, while the observation group adopted an activity-based experiential teaching mode. Before and after the experiment, the Emotional Intelligence Scale(EIS)was used to assess students'psychological status and conduct data analysis. The results showed that after a 4-week teaching experiment, the observation group had significantly better ability to regulate their own emotions than the control group(t=5.068;P<0.05).The activity-based experiential teaching mode can improve the ability of vocational college students to regulate their emotions.
