Application of a Guided Pedagogical Approach Based on Digital Teaching Resources in Engineering Courses
With the rapid advancement of information technology, the channels through which students access knowledge have become increasingly diverse and intelligent, and the forms of teaching resources are evolving towards diversification and digitalization.Traditional teaching methods and resources are progressively losing their appeal to contemporary college students. In response to this issue, this paper proposes a guided pedagogical approach that leverages digital teaching resources, integrating the strengths of the flipped classroom and problem-based learning approaches.By flipping some basic teaching tasks to independent study and discussion among students and designing lesson plans with a problem-oriented philosophy, this method aims to cultivate students'independent thinking and innovation skills.Research indicates that the experimental group using the guided pedagogical approach showed a 9.73 increase in post-test scores compared to their pre-test scores, whereas the control group using traditional teaching methods only improved by 1.09.Correlation analysis revealed that the experimental group's subjective evaluation scores were higher than those of the control group, and there was a significant positive correlation between course grades and subjective evaluation scores.Guided pedagogical approach not only significantly enhances students'academic performance but also positively shapes their evaluative perspectives, embodying practical value in teaching methodologies.
