Psychological stress status of preeclampsia patients before cesarean section and its impact on the process of postpartum uterine involution
Objective To analyze the psychological stress status of preeclampsia patients before cesarean section and its impact on the process of postpartum uterine involution. Methods From January 2021 to December 2022,127 patients with preeclampsia who underwent cesarean section were included as the study subjects. All patients were evaluated for their psychological stress status before surgery using the Symptom Checklist-90(SCL-90).At discharge and 42 days after cesarean section, uterine involution was evaluated to analyze the impact of psychological stress status of preeclampsia patients before cesarean section on the process of postpartum uterine involution. Results The uterine floor decline index of 127 patients with preeclampsia after cesarean section ranged from 15.74%to 25.50%,with the mean value of(20.62±1.75)%.There was a significant difference in the uterine floor decline in patients stratified by the age, body mass index(BMI),parity, severe preeclampsia, feeding patterns, nutritional status, and psychological stress(P<0.05).The equation obtained by multiple linear regression was Y=22.135-0.957×age+0.806×parity-0.721×feeding patterns-0.933×psychological stress. The results showed that age≥35 years old, multiparous women, artificial feeding, and psychological stress were the influencing factors for uterine involution in patients with preeclampsia after cesarean section(P<0.05).Conclusion The psychological stress status of preeclampsia patients before cesarean section can affect the process of postpartum uterine involution. In clinical practice,it is necessary to strengthen prenatal psychological intervention for preeclampsia patients to reduce their psychological stress level and promote postpartum uterine involution.
