Analysis of the application effect of the framework management mode based on the Joint Commission International concept on the management of medical equipment in the disinfection supply room
Objective To explore the application effect of the he framework management mode based on the Joint Commission International(JCI)concept on the management of medical equipment in the disinfection supply room.Methods A total of 30 medical staff in the disinfection supply room of our hospital from January 2019 to January 2020 were selected as the research objects.They were randomly divided into the control group(15 cases)and the experimental group(15 cases).Conventional management mode,and framework management mode based on the JCI concept were respectively adopted in the control group and experimental group.Nursing care quality,comprehensive quality,satisfaction of medical staff,and device management effectiveness were compared between groups.Results After the intervention,the nursing quality scores of nursing process,quality supervision,safety awareness and infection risk in the experimental group were significantly higher than those of control group(P<0.05).There were no significant differences in the comprehensive quality scores before the intervention between groups(P>0.05).After the intervention,mastery of safety knowledge,proactive service awareness,risk prevention and control ability,and professional competence were significantly improved in both groups(P<0.05),which were more pronounced in the experimental group(P<0.05).The satisfaction rate of medical staff and the pass rates of sterilization,cleaning,inspection,packaging,distribution and recycling in the experimental group were significantly higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The framework management model based on the JCI concept has a good application effect on the management of medical equipment in the disinfection supply room.It can effectively improve the quality and safety of nursing,and increase the satisfaction of medical staff,which can be used in medical management.
