Objective To analyze the impact of pregnancy complications on the perinatal outcomes of offspring. Methods In 2022,a total of 140 patients with pregnancy complications admitted were selected as the disease group, and 140 pregnant women admitted for physical examination during the same period were selected as the reference group.General data, perinatal outcomes, and incidence of complications between the two groups of pregnant women and their offspring were compared. Results Compared with those of the reference group, pregnant women in the disease group presented significantly higher incidence of hypertension, and their offspring presented significantly lower birth weight,Apgar score, longer length of stay and higher rate of transferring in the neonatal intensive care unit(NICU)and mortality(P<0.05).Compared with that of the reference group, the incidence of adverse perinatal outcomes like macrosomia, low birth weight infants, neonatal asphyxia, premature infants, congenital abnormalities, stillbirth, and neonatal death in the disease group was significantly higher(P<0.05).Compared with that of the reference group, the incidence of complications like jaundice, meningitis, pneumonia, intracranial hemorrhage, hypoglycemia, and sepsis in the disease group was significantly higher(P<0.05).Conclusion Pregnancy complications pose a significant risk to the fetus that increase the risk of adverse perinatal outcomes and complications in offspring.Clinically, for such pregnant women,it is necessary to closely monitor changes in various indicators of pregnant women and strengthen perinatal management.
