Objective To analyze the effect of patient-oriented psychological intervention on the mental health of patients with intracranial aneurysm. Methods A total of 96 patients with intracranial aneurysm admitted to Huai'an Second People's Hospital from January 2021 to January 2022 were selected. They were randomly divided into the control group and observation group, with 48 patients in each group.Patients in both groups received routine intervention, and those in the observation group were additionally given the patient-oriented psychological intervention.Baseline characteristics, the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS)score, the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale(CD-RISC)score,and the 100-scoring Quality of Life(QoL-100)were compared between groups. Results At 3 months of the intervention, the NIHSS score of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).There was significant difference in the CD-RISC score at different time points, between groups and time-group interactions(P<0.05).At 3 months of the intervention, the CD-RISC score of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).At 3 months of the intervention, the QoL-100 score of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of complications was significantly lower in the observation group than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Patient-oriented psychological intervention can effectively improve the NIHSS score, mental health and quality of life in patients with intracranial aneurysm, and reduce the incidence of postoperative complications, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
