Application of an inflatable thermal blanket combined with multimodal body temperature intervention in non-small cell lung cancer surgery
Objective To analyze the application effect of an inflatable thermal blanket combined with multimodal body temperature intervention in non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)surgery.Methods A total of 135 NSCLC patients admitted to the Suqian First Hospital(Suqian Branch,Jiangsu Province Hospital)from March 2021 to March 2023 were selected as the research subjects.They were randomly divided into the inflatable thermal blanket group(n=45),multimodal body temperature intervention group(n=42)and combination group(n= 48).An inflatable thermal blanket was given to patients of inflatable thermal blanket group,and multimodal body temperature intervention was given to those of multimodal body temperature intervention group.Their combination was applied to patients of combination group.Circulating metabolism indicators,vital signs,coagulation function,stress response indicators,inflammation factors,complications,and operation-related indicators were compared.Results Compared with those before surgery,the body temperature of the inflatable thermal blanket group and the multimodal body temperature intervention group decreased 30min after surgery,and the partial pressure of end-tidal CO2(PetCO2),heart rate,systolic blood pressure,activated partial thromboplastin time(APTT),prothrombin time(PT),and thrombin time(TT)significantly increased(P<0.05).Compared with those before surgery,the changes in the body temperature,PetCO2,heart rate,systolic blood pressure,PT,APTT,and TT in the combination group at 30min after surgery were small without significant differences(P>0.05).Compared with those of the inflatable thermal blanket group and the multimodal body temperature intervention group at 30min after operation,the body temperature of patients in the combination group was significantly higher,and the PetCO2,heart rate,systolic blood pressure,PT,APTT,and TT were significantly lower(P<0.05).Compared with those before surgery,the levels of cortisol(COR),norepinephrine(NE),interleukin-6(IL-6),and tumor necrosis factor alpha(TNF-α)in patients of each group increased 30min after surgery,which were significantly lower in the combination group than those of the inflatable thermal blanket group and the multimodal body temperature intervention group 30min after surgery.Compared with the inflatable thermal blanket group and the multimodal body temperature intervention group,patients in the combination group presented less complications and intraoperative bleeding volume,and significantly shorter postoperative awakening time,operation time and postoperative extubation time(P<0.05).Conclusion The inflatable thermal blanket combined with multimodal body temperature intervention during the operation for NSCLC can keep the postoperative circulating metabolic indexes and coagulation function normal,reduce the occurrence of oxidative stress reaction and the incidence of surgical complications,which has a good clinical application effect.
