Value of ovarian CDFI score in predicting ovarian activity in patients with adnexal torsion
Objective To investigate the value of the ovarian color Doppler flow imaging(CDFI)score in predicting the ovarian activity in patients with adnexal torsion. Methods A total of 32 patients with adnexal torsion who were confirmed by the surgery were selected and scored according to the ovarian blood flow signal, which were compared with the intraoperative ovarian activity. Results The sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value and negative predictive value of the ovarian CDFI score in predicting the ovarian activity in patients with adnexal torsion were 90%,81.82%,69.23%and 94.74%,respectively.There was a good consistency between the presence of ovarian CDFI blood flow and intraoperative ovarian survival, with the Kappa value of 0.664.Conclusion CDFI can predict the ovarian activity after adnexal torsion, and ovarian blood flow score can provide relatively reliable and effective imaging basis for clinical practice.
