Application of transvaginal color Doppler ultrasound parameters to evaluate the treatment of polycystic ovary syndrome using clomiphene combined with Diane-35
Objective To evaluate the application of transvaginal color Doppler ultrasound parameters to the treatment of polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS)using clomiphene combined with Diane-35.Methods A total of 110 eligible PCOS patients admitted to our hospital from June 2022 to May 2024 were recruited, and they were divided into control group and study group according to their different treatment regimens, with 55 cases in each group.Patients in both groups were treated with metformin and clomiphene, and those in the study group were additionally treated with Dain-35.Transvaginal color Doppler ultrasound was performed before and after treatment to evaluate the therapeutic effect. Results After treatment, the peak systolic blood flow(PSV),end-diastolic blood flow velocity(EDV)and pulsatility index(PI)in the study group were all significantly higher than those of the control group, while the resistance index(RI)was significantly lower(P<0.05).Compared with those of control group, patients in the study group presented less number of follicles(FN)in the ovary, lower ovarian volume(OV)and follicle stroma/total follicle area(SA/TA),and higher maximum follicle diameter(P<0.05).The proportion of weak blood flow signal in the study group was significantly higher than that of the control group, and the proportion of electrical interstitial blood flow signal and the proportion of coarse interstitial blood flow signal in the study group were significantly lower(P<0.05).Conclusion Transvaginal color Doppler ultrasound parameters in the evaluation of PCOS treatment using the clomiphene combined with Diane-35 can be used to detect changes in ovarian arterial blood flow and blood flow signals, which contribute to a clearly understanding of the ovary improvement.Clomiphene combined with Diane-35 has a definite curative effect on the treatment of PCOS.
