Application effect of an integrated intervention mode in the intra-aortic balloon pump therapy on patients with acute myocardial infarction
Objective To explore the application effect of an integrated intervention mode in the intra-aortic balloon pump(IABP)therapy on patients with acute myocardial infarction. Methods A total of 52 patients with acute myocardial infarction treated with IABP from January 2020 to December 2022 were included in the study. They were randomly divided into the control group(routine intervention)and experimental group(integrated intervention mode),with 26 patients in each group. The negative emotional scores, comfort status, quality of life, and incidence of complications were compared between the two groups. Results After intervention, the scores of the Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)and Self-Rating Depression Scale(SDS)in both groups were significantly reduced than those before intervention, which were significantly lower in the experimental group than those of the control group(P<0.05).The General Comfort Questionnaire(GCQ)scores of both groups after intervention were significantly enhanced than those before intervention, which were significantly higher in the experimental group than those of the control group(P<0.05).The scores of the quality of life in both groups were significantly enhanced than those before intervention, which were significantly higher in the experimental group than those of the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the experimental group was significantly lower than that of control group(3.85%vs 26.92%,P<0.05).Conclusion The application of an integrated intervention model in the IABP therapy can effectively alleviate negative emotions, improve comfort and quality of life, and reduce complications in patients with acute myocardial infarction.
