Effect of serum lipoprotein(a)on cerebral infarction patients with different Chinese ischemic stroke subclassification subtypes
Objective To investigate the effect of serum lipoprotein(a)[LP(a)]on cerebral infarction patients with different subtypes of the Chinese ischemic stroke subclassification(CISS).Methods A total of 234 cerebral infarction patients were selected in our hospital from October 2018 to November 2022,including 111 patients with large artery atherosclerosis(LAA),59 patients with cardiogenic stroke(CS),29 patients with perforating artery disease(PAD),13 patients with other etiologies(OE),and 22 patients with a uncertain etiology(UE).Clinical data of all patients were collected.Serum LP(a)was detected, which,in cerebral infarction patients with different CISS subtypes was compared.Serum LP(a)in LAA patients with different pathogenic factors was analyzed. The influencing factors for LAA were analyzed. Results Among 234 cerebral infarction patients, serum LP(a)was significantly higher in LAA patients than that of other cerebral infarction patients(P<0.05).The prevalence of hypertension in LAA patients was significantly lower, while that of hyperlipidemia was significantly higher than that of other cerebral infarction patients(both P<0.05).Most LAA patients had a history of smoking(P<0.05).Hypertension,hyperlipidemia and smoking history were influencing factors for LAA.Conclusion Serum LP(a)is differentially expressed in cerebral infarction patients with different CISS subtypes, and among them,LAA patients have the highest serum LP(a).
