Application of nursing interventions based on the de-escalation techniques to the treatment of emergency trauma patients
Objective To observe the application effects of nursing interventions based on the de-escalation techniques to the treatment of emergency trauma patients. Methods A total of 60 trauma patients admitted to the Emergency Department of our hospital from January 2021 to December 2021 were selected as the control group, and 60 trauma patients admitted from January 2022 to December 2022 were selected as the study group.Patients in control group were given conventional nursing, and those in the study group were given emergency nursing interventions based on the de-escalation techniques. The triage time, first diagnosis time, electrocardiography(ECG)monitoring time, venous access opening time, airway clearance time, respiratory support time, examination completion time, success rate of emergency rescue, incidence of nursing adverse events, the Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale(HAM-A)and the Hamilton Depression Rating Scale(HDRS)scores graded when patients leaving ICU were compared between groups. Results There were significant difference in the triage time, first diagnosis time,ECG monitoring time, venous access opening time, airway clearance time, respiratory support time and examination completion time between groups(P<0.05).The success rate of emergency rescue in the study group was significantly higher than that of the control group, and the incidence of adverse nursing events in study group was significantly lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).The HAM-A and HDRS scores in study group were significantly lower than those of control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Nursing interventions based on the de-escalation techniques can effectively shorten the nursing completion time of emergency trauma patients, reduce the incidence of nursing adverse events, enhance the success rate of rescue, and alleviate the anxiety and depression emotions of trauma patients in emergency therapy.
