Study on the nursing effect based on the multidimensional driven integrated iceberg theory on coping style and psychological resilience of colorectal cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy
Objective To explore the nursing effect based on the multidimensional driven integrated iceberg theory on coping style and psychological resilience of colorectal cancer(CRC)patients undergoing chemotherapy. Methods A total of 82 CRC patients who received chemotherapy in our hospital from February 2020 to April 2022 were randomly divided into control group(routine nursing)and research group(nursing based on the multidimensional driven fusion iceberg theory),with 41 cases in each group. The chemotherapy compliance, the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale(CD-RISC)score,the Medical Coping Modes Questionnaire(MCMQ)score, the Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)score and the Self-Rating Depression Scale(SDS)score before and after intervention were compared between the two groups. Results After the intervention, the scores of the dimensions of tenacity, optimism, and self-improvement in the CD-RISC and its total scores were significantly higher in the study group than those of control group(P<0.05).After the intervention, the confrontation score of the MCMQ in the study group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05),and the avoidance and surrender coping scores were significantly lower(P<0.05).The chemotherapy compliance of the study group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).After intervention, the SAS and SDS scores of the study group were significantly lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Nursing care based on the multidimensional driven integrated iceberg theory for CRC patients treated with chemotherapy can improve their psychological resilience, make them actively cope with the disease, and promote the improvement of chemotherapy compliance.
