Objective To explore the application of diversified health education model in prevention of deep vein thrombosis(DVT)in patients with lower limb fracture(LLF).Methods A convenience sampling method were performed to enroll 150 LLF patients hospitalized January-June 2021(the control group)and 150 LLF patients hospitalized July-December 2021(the observation group).The patients of control group and the observation group received routine health education model and diversified health education model,respectively.The cognitive level of DVT,Compliance rates to basic prevention strategies,compliance of preventive measures,incidence of DVT,satisfaction in patients between the two groups were compared.Results The patients in the observation group presented significantly higher cognitive level of DVT,compliance rate of basic preventive measures,satisfaction than those of the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of DVT in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group(16.00%vs 25.33%,P<0.05,respectively).Conclusion For LLF patients,the application of diversified health education model can improve the nursing effect and reduce the incidence of DVT,which is worthy of popularization and application.
