Effect of timing theory-based caring nursing in children undergoing cardiothoracic surgery
Objective To explore the effect of timing theory-based caring nursing in children undergoing cardiothoracic surgery.Methods A total of 94 children undergoing cardiothoracic surgery admitted to our hospital from November 2021 to November 2022 were randomly assigned into control group(n=47)and study group(n=47).All patients received routine nursing intervention,and the study group additionally received timing theory-based caring nursing.The differences in recovery status,respiratory function,medical fear score,quality of life,treatment compliance including Houpt Scale,Frankl Treatment Compliance Scale(Frankl),nursing satisfaction were compared.Results After nursing,patients in the study group had significant improvement of recovery status and respiratory function than those of the control group(P<0.05).Patients in the both groups showed significantly decreased medical fear score,significantly increased the scores of quality of life,Houpt Scale,Frankl and nursing satisfaction,which was significant better in the study group than in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The implementation of timing theory-based caring nursing for children undergoing cardiothoracic surgery has a positive effect on improving their medical fear and quality of life,and improving treatment compliance and nursing satisfaction.
