Effect of the comprehensive nursing on postoperative recovery of joint function and satisfaction of patients treated with unicompartmental knee replacement
Objective To explore the effect of the comprehensive nursing on postoperative recovery of joint function and satisfaction of patients treated with unicompartmental knee replacement(UKR).Methods A total of 60 patients with knee osteoarthritis who underwent UKR from January 2020 to December 2022 were selected.According to the random number table method, they were randomly divided into the control group and experimental group, with 30 cases per group.Routine care and comprehensive care were applied to patients of control group and experimental group, respectively.Nursing effects of the two groups were analyzed and compared. Results There was no significant difference in the Harris Hip Scale(HHS)score before nursing between groups(P>0.05).The HHS score after nursing was significantly higher in the experimental group than that of the control group([92.83±3.47]points vs[80.93±3.28]points,P<0.05).The mean time of the first postoperative exhaust, first defecation and recovery of defecation to preoperative status was significantly shorter in the experimental group than that of the control group(P<0.05).The nursing satisfaction of the experimental group was significantly higher than that of the control group(96.67%vs 73.33%,P<0.05).After intervention, the 36-Item Short Form Survey(SF-36)score of the experimental group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Comprehensive nursing for patients treated with UKR can significantly improve the knee function, gastrointestinal recovery, nursing satisfaction and quality of life, which is worthy of recommendation.
