Study on the effect of hospital-led family health management program on self-efficacy of transient ischemic attack patients based on planned behavior theory
Objective To investigate the effect of hospital-led family health management program on the self-efficacy of patients with transient ischemic attack(TIA)based on planned behavior theory. Methods A total of 102 TIA patients treated in our hospital from January 2021 to January 2023 were selected and divided into observation group and control group(51 cases each)according to random number table method.Patients in both groups were given routine nursing intervention program for health management, and those in the observation group were additionally given hospital-led family health management program intervention based on planned behavior theory.Self-efficacy,disease knowledge questionnaire, health behavior attitude, health behavior and the Activities of Daily Living(ADL)score before intervention and one month after intervention were compared between the two groups. Results After 1 month of intervention, the self-efficacy score of both groups was higher than that before intervention, and which was significantly higher in the observation group than that of control group(P<0.05).After 1 month of intervention, the scores of disease knowledge questionnaire in both groups were significantly higher than before intervention, and which were significantly higher in the observation group than those of control group(P<0.05).After 1 month of intervention, the health behavior attitude scores and health behavior scores of both groups were significantly higher than those before intervention, and which were significantly higher in the observation group than those of control group(both P<0.05).After 1 month of intervention, the ADL score of both groups was significantly higher than that before intervention, and which was significantly higher in the observation group than that of control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of the hospital-led family health management program based on planned behavior theory in TIA patients can establish their correct disease cognition and positive behavior attitude, improve self-efficacy and activity of daily life, and promote the implementation of health management behavior of disease prevention and treatment.
