Objective To explore the application effect of mindfulness intervention based on emotional ABC theory on coronary heart disease(CHD)patients with percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI).Methods A total of 80 CHD patients with PCI from January to December 2022 were selected as the research subjects. The subjects were randomly divided into an experimental group(n=40)and a control group(n=40).All patients received routine treatment and care from the cardiology department, patients in the experimental group additionally received mindfulness training based on emotional ABC theory. The cardiopulmonary function, sleep quality, anxiety and depression, and incidence of adverse cardiac events were evaluated before intervention, and on months 2,6 of intervention. Results Before intervention, there was no statistically significant difference in the 6-minute walking distance(6MWD),Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)scores,Self-Rating Anxiety/Depression Scale(SAS/SDS)scores between the two groups of patients(P>0.05).After 2 and 6 months of intervention, the 6MWD,PSQI scores,SAS scores and SDS scores of the experimental group were significantly better than those of the control group(P<0.05).After 6 months of intervention, there was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of adverse cardiac events between the two groups of patients(P>0.05).Repeated measurement analysis of variance showed that time effects,inter-group effects, and interaction effects were all statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Mindfulness training based on emotional ABC theory can improve patients'sleep quality, improve negative emotions, enhance cardiopulmonary function, and which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
