Influence of traditional Chinese medicine emotions combined with individualized interventions on humoral immunity and quality of life of advanced breast cancer patients undergoing neoadjuvant chemotherapy
Objective To explore the effect of the traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)emotions combined with individualized interventions on humoral immunity and quality of life of advanced breast cancer patients undergoing neoadjuvant chemotherapy.Methods A total of 120 advanced breast cancer patients treated with neoadjuvant chemotherapy in Cangzhou Hospital of Integrated TCM-WM Hebei in 2022 were enrolled as the study subjects.They were randomly divided into the control group and research group,with 60 cases in each group.Patients in the control group received routine nursing intervention,while those in the research group received individualized interventions combined with TCM emotions.Intervention effects of the two groups were compared.Results After the interventions,humoral immunity levels in both groups were significantly lower than those before the interventions,but the declines in the research group were significantly greater than those of control group(P＜0.05).After the interventions,stress response levels in both groups were significantly higher than those before the interventions,but the elevations in the research group were significantly less than those of control group(P＜0.05).After the interventions,the anxiety and depression scores of both groups significantly decreased compared to those before intervention,which were significantly lower in the research group than those of control group(P＜0.05).The quality of life scores of both groups increased compared to before interventions,which were significantly higher in the research group than those of the control group(P＜0.05).The satisfaction rate with intervention in the research group was significantly higher than that of control group(96.67%vs 80.00%,P＜0.05).Conclusion The combination of TCM emotions and individualized interventions for advanced breast cancer patients treated with neoadjuvant chemotherapy can reduce the stress response,alleviate bad emotions,improve the quality of life and immune function,and with a high nursing satisfaction.
