Objective To analyze the clinical application of edaravone dexborneol in Bozhou Hospital Affiliated to Anhui Medical University based on the attribute hierarchical model,and to provide references for the rational drug use in our hospital.Methods According to the instruction manual of edaravone dexborneol,relevant guidelines and expert consensus,an evaluation criterion for the rational use of edaravone dexborneol was established.The attribute hierarchy model(AHM)method was used to analyze and evaluate the medical records of 190 patients who received edaravone dexborneol in our hospital from June 2022 to December 2022.Pharmaceutical interventions were carried out for the problems found by the evaluation criterion.A total of 190 archived medical records using edaravone dexborneol from January to June 2023 were re-evaluated.Results From June 2022 to December 2022,the main irrational use problems of edaravone dexborneol were medication monitoring(190 cases,100%),usage and dosage(98 cases,51.58%),course of treatment(62 cases,32.63%).There were 19(10%),32(16.84%),97(51.05%)and 42(22.11%)cases of the Medical Record Score(MRS)grading≥90 points(excellent),80-89 points(good),60-79 points(fair)and＜60 points(unqualified),respectively.The qualified rate of medical records was 51.05%.After pharmaceutical intervention,the main irrational drug use problems of edaravone dexborneol decreased significantly from January to June 2023,and the qualified rate of medical records increased from 51.05%to 73.16%(P＜0.05).Conclusion There are many irrational cases in the clinical application of edaravone dexborneol in our hospital.Through the intervention and communication of clinical pharmacists,reasonable rate of medical record has been improved.The AHM method of drug utilization evaluation is simple and intuitive,and can play a certain role in clinical drug use.
