Objective To analyze the application effect of cluster nursing model in the maintenance of upper arm central venous port implantation in cancer patients.Methods A total of 76 cases of cancer patients with upper arm central venous port implantation admitted to our hospital from January 2021 to June 2022 were enrolled,they were assigned to control group(n=38)and observation group(n=38)according to the computer random number table.All patients received routine nursing in the maintenance of upper arm central venous port implantation,and those in the observation group additionally received cluster nursing mode.The incidence of complications,psychological adaptability,quality of life and satisfaction were compared between groups.Results After nursing,the incidence of complications in the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group(5.26%vs 21.05%,P＜0.05).The score of Simple Cancer Patient Psychological Adaptation Questionnaire(Mini-MAC-19)in the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group(P＜0.05).The score of Chinese versions of the Functional Assessment of Cancer Therapy-General(FACT-G)in the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P＜0.05).The satisfaction rate of patients in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group(97.37%vs 81.58%,P＜0.05).Conclusion The application of cluster nursing model in the maintenance of upper arm central venous port implantation in cancer patients has significant effects,which can not only effectively prevent complications,enhance patients'psychological adaptability,but also improve their quality of life and satisfaction,and worthy of clinical promotion and application.
