Objective To investigate the level of rumination in patients with early diabetic retinopathy(DRP),and to analyze the influencing factors and formulate reasonable nursing strategies. Methods A total of 246 patients with early DR from January 2021 to March 2023 were surveyed using a cluster sampling method.General data, social support assessment(SSRS)and Event-Related Rumination Inventory(ERRI)were conducted.Totally 235 valid questionnaires were collected and included in the results analysis. The scores of invasive and purposive rumination subscales in ERRI were recorded, the differences in scores of invasive and purposive rumination subscales in early DRP patients with different characteristics were analyzed, the correlation between social support and rumination was analyzed, and the relevant influencing factors were analyzed by multivariate Logistic regression. Results In early DR Patients, the total score of rumination was 28.71±4.62 points. The score of invasive rumination was significantly higher than that of purposive rumination(15.04±3.86 points vs 13.62±3.41 points,t=6.383,P<0.001).The total score of social support(35.42±9.62)was negatively correlated with the score of intrusive meditation and positively correlated with the score of purposeful meditation(P<0.001).The result form multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that education level, diabetes course, family monthly income and social support were the main influencing factors of rumination level in early DRP patients. Conclusion Ruminative rumination in early DRP Patients is at a moderate level.Clinical staff should conduct nursing intervention according to the influencing factors, strengthen social support and education to promote the outcome of the disease.
