Objective To investigate the clinical effect of the perioperative enjoyment of children and comfort interventions on children undergoing strabismus surgery.Methods A total of 180 children with strabismus who received surgical treatment in Suqian First Hospital(Suqian Hospital,Jiangsu Province Hospital)from February 2022 to March 2023 were enrolled.They were randomly divided into the control group and intervention group,with 90 cases per group.Routine perioperative interventions were applied to all enrolled children,and those in the intervention group were additionally managed by the perioperative enjoyment of children and comfort interventions.The psychological stress of the children and their families and the degree of cooperation in treatment were observed.Results After the intervention,the Screen for Child Anxiety-Related Emotional Disorders(SCARED)score of children and the Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)and Self-Rating Depression Scale(SDS)scores of parents in the intervention group were significantly lower than those of control group(P<0.05).The excellent and good rate of treatment cooperation in the intervention group was significantly higher than that of control group(94.44%vs 83.33%,P<0.05).The nursing satisfaction of parents in the intervention group was significantly higher than that of control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Routine nursing combined with perioperative enjoyment of children and comfort interventions can effectively reduce the stress response of children and their families,significantly improve the degree of treatment cooperation,and obtain better treatment effect and nursing satisfaction in children undergoing strabismus surgery.
