Objective To analyze the effect of predictive nursing for traumatic fracture(TF)patients in emergency department. Methods Totally 68 patients with TF treated in our hospital from June 2021 to June 2022 were randomly divided into group A(34 cases, routine nursing)and group B(34 cases, predictive nursing). The nursing effect between groups was compared. Results The visual analogue scale(VAS)scores of the two groups before nursing were comparable(P>0.05).After nursing, the mild pain rate(88.24%vs 50.00%)in group B were significantly higher than that of group A,but the moderate pain rate(11.76%vs32.35%)and severe pain rate(0 vs17.65%)were significantly lower(all P<0.05).VAS scores at 12 hours and 24 hours after nursing were significantly lower in group B than those of group A(P<0.05).When at time<3 weeks, the rate of callus formation in group B was significantly higher than that of group A(73.53%vs 35.29%,P<0.05);when at time 4-5 weeks,or time>5 weeks, the rate of callus formation in group B was significantly lower than that of group A(4-5 weeks:8.82%vs 29.41%;>5 weeks:2.94%vs 17.65%,P<0.05);when At time 3-4 weeks, the rate of callus formation in group B was slightly lower than that of group A(14.71%vs 17.65%,P>0.05).The mean time to callus formation in group B was significantly shorter than that of group A(P<0.05).The nursing satisfactory degree,Hamilton Depression Rating Scale(HAMD),rescue indicators in group B were significantly better than those of group A(P<0.05).Conclusion For patients with TF,predictive nursing in emergency department can improve the success rate of rescue, improve postoperative pain and psychological state, and promote the callus formation during a short time, which is highly recognized by patients.
