Progress in the study of prognosis-related biomarkers in elderly hip fracture patients
Hip fracture(HF)is a common traumatic disease in elderly patients with more postoperative complications and poor prognosis. The incidence of HF is gradually rising with aging, which brings a heavy burden to patients and society. In the past, the assessment of postoperative prognosis of elderly hip fracture was mostly based on rating scales, and the results of subjective and lagging were found. Therefore,it is important to search appropriate biomarkers for monitoring the condition and predicting the prognosis of HF.In this paper,we review the research progress on the role of relevant biomarkers in predicting the prognosis of elderly hip fracture patients.
