Objective To analyze the effect of progressive muscle relaxation(PMR)combined with shoulder and neck exercises(SNE)on postoperative rehabilitation in patients with thyroid cancer(TC).Methods Totally 62 patients with TC in our hospital from January to November 2022 were enrolled and divided into group A(31 cases,routine training)and group B(31 cases,PMR+SNE)by random number table method.The aim was to compare pittsburgh sleep quality index(PSQI),Hamilton Depression Rating Scale(HAMD),the European Organisation for Research and Treatment of Cancer(EORTC)Quality of Life questionnaire C30(QLQ-C30),shoulder function score,thyroid function.Results After training,PSQI score,HAMD score,QLQ-C30 score,shoulder function score,thyroid function indexes in group B were significantly better than those of group A(P<0.05).Conclusion After surgery,the application of PMR+SNE in TC patients has better effects on improving sleep quality,shoulder joint and thyroid function,poor mentality,and quality of life.
